Understand the event’s objective(s)
Define the purpose of the function – is it to educate or reward the guests, to raise funds, for public relations, or other reasons? Establish how you can produce an unforgettable event while achieving your objective(s). Quantifiable goals should be established so you can later determine if the event was successful. If appropriate, incorporate guest surveys or comment cards on-site.

Sabree Special Events
Reeshemah Brightley comes from a book publishing background. Prior to entering the publishing industry she began organizing events for her college and family. After spending six years in publishing, the company collapsed several positions, including hers. She decided that was her opportunity to focus on planning events. It was then
Sabree Special Events was created.
She has successfully organized an Ethnic Festival currently in it’s fourteen year. She was also instrumental in organizing, marketing and promoting
the 1st nationally recognized Caribbean American Heritage Month.
Within her tasks she organized an Arts Festival on Ellis Island, the 1st ever on Ellis Island in honor of Caribbean American Heritage Month. She believes no event is too small. She welcomes the challenge of putting together unique events and assisting in making your event memorable.
Reeshemah is looking to branch out into the Caribbean region by organizing family gatherings, special events, conferences
and incentive travel.
